Growth Mindset Holiday Gift Ideas 2019

With the holidays right around the corner, I was hoping to supply you with some gift ideas that might nudge someone on your list towards a growth mindset.

Gift an Audible Membership

Give them the gift of an audiobook! Audible allows you to “gift” someone a membership. Memberships are available in 1, 3, 6 and 12-month options. Listening to audiobooks is one of the easiest ways to digest content that expands a person’s knowledge. Whether it’s personal/professional development, personal finance, or how to strengthen relationships, Audible has the library content that covers ALL THOSE THINGS! Plus, the classics and fiction are there too!

Gift a Book

Visit the 3AT Resources Page and pick from one of the many books that cover our three domain areas (building authentic relationships, financial literacy, and personal/professional development). I have personally read the books and believe they are in alignment with Three Action Thursday’s mission of helping you be the best version of yourself.

Gift a Kindle e-Reader

Maybe you are surrounded by visual learners. Consider gifting them an e-reader to get them access to new ideas.

Kindle Reader for Kids – I purchased two for my four-kid household. The kids really enjoy being able to read books on the go and it makes traveling so much easier on the parents too! This is the choice for the discerning parent who does NOT want their child to have access to video content.

Kindle Fire HD for Kids and Parents – Get the benefits of an e-reader along with HD programming available through Amazon Prime. Best of both worlds.

Gift an Amazon Prime Membership

An Amazon Prime membership has so many additional benefits beyond just free shipping. By gifting a Prime membership to someone you allow them quick and easy access to Amazon Prime Video content including some great documentaries and shows (Free Solo, The Biggest Little Farm, etc.).

Growth Mindset Gifts for Kids & Teens

I wanted to share a few items that I have not personally tried yet, but that I’ve been sent and/or just intrigued by. Big Life Journal and KiwiCo.

Big Life Journal

Big Life Journal has some great resources for those under 18 years of age. It’s all about raising amazing kids with growth mindsets. Use something like Big Life Journal to counteract those negative cultural items. Check out the Big Life Journal for Kids and the Big Life Journal for Teens. Additionally, explore the Big Life Journal Podcast.

KiwiCo

I’m always trying to find a way to interject Science Technology Engineering, and Math (STEM). Through KiwiCo you can give the gift of enriching & hands-on learning fun with super cool STEM projects that promote creative problem-solving for kids of all ages from infants to teenagers. KiwiCo has monthly subscription boxes with a variety of interests including engineering, crafts, science, art & more!

**Full disclosure, some of the links above are referral links, and in some cases, I will receive a small bit of monetary compensation.
