Crypto and Community
No one noticed (or at least no one mentioned) that last week’s Three Content Thursday piece Stoics and Pitbulls actually had four pieces of content instead of three.
What I’m Researching
Cryptocurrency, specifically Grayscale. I am not in love with cryptocurrency for investment purposes; however, I think the technology is fascinating. Grayscale allows investors to buy into the cryptocurrency market just like it was any other stock or mutual fund without having to manage the secure keys/wallets, a new application, or any of the currency management tasks that come with owning cryptocurrency. Although I am not suggesting people should invest, I think it is worth the time to do a little research.
What I’m Watching
This video from Daily Stoic. I absolutely love this video. With the recent (over) focus on national politics and global pandemics, it is easy to forget that our greatest area of influence for bringing about change is within ourselves, our families, and our community. Beyond that, it becomes increasingly difficult to spark significant change. Watch the video to see what I mean! Maybe we should all refocus our time and efforts?
Quotes I’m Pondering

“Character is like a tree and reputation like its shadow. The shadow is what we think of it; the tree is the real thing.”
– President Abraham Lincoln
“The wise man must remember that while he is a descendant of the past, he is a parent of the future.”
– Herbert Spencer, English philosopher, biologist, anthropologist, and sociologist
