    Reflection and Introspection

Sometimes it is good to step out from the everyday hustle and grind to reflect on our blessings and look introspectively on what we have accomplished and the experiences and relationships we have had. While Three Action Thursday has always been a way for me to give back to others, it has also pushed me to continue my own personal and professional development. I shared a little about that in a piece I wrote earlier this year called My Story. Over the last year, an additional way I have been trying to share value is by telling my story on various podcasts. If you want to hear more about my…

How to Make BIG Life Decisions in 5 Easy Steps

I am reading this fabulous, faith-based book called What Does God Want?: A Practical Guide to Making Decisions by Father Michael Scanlan. I would highly recommend the book for anyone, including those who aren’t spiritual or who don’t typically consider a higher power when making a decision. My “Diary of a Doer”….

I am currently on spring break with my family, getting some much needed rest and relaxation. I never need a break from sharing knowledge, though, and wanted to make sure I gave you something to do while I am away! I was blessed recently to go on my good friend Trivinia Barber’s podcast called Diary of a Doer. Trivinia is a top-notch human being with an incredible personal story that includes a challenging upbringing and…. She has an amazing entrepreneurial story as well. I’m not only a huge Trivinia fan, but I am a client of her business. If you need help scaling and could utilize an assistant, I encourage…

We never talk anymore! Call me maybe?

Authentic communication is a lost art. It’s crazy how much communication has changed in the last 20-30 years, and probably NOT for the better. So, I am hoping you will humor me and do the following: [First, for fun, watch these teens try and figure out a rotary phone.] My challenge for you: Pull out your phone, go to your contacts and type in the letter “C”. Look at the screen and pick the name of someone you haven’t talked to in a long time. Call them and tell them how you feel about them. Optional: Rinse and repeat two or three more times, picking a different letter each time!…
